Program Assistant

Barbershop Books is seeking a full-time Program Assistant to support our New York City barbershop network. The Program Assistant will build relationships with participating barbershops, conduct in-person site visits, maintain child-friendly reading spaces, organize program materials, and support community events. This is an entry-level opportunity for someone who is passionate about education, community outreach, and helping Black boys and other vulnerable children build positive relationships with reading.
